By popular demand we have finally re-pressed HAVE A NICE LIFE’S debut double-album, “Deathconsciousness,” on vinyl. 500 copies for those who never got the chance to own this record in physical format. Pre-orders went up tonight, so if you’re interested, grab one asap. They won’t last long.
When you’re checking out the store, you may notice some changes. That’s because we’re switching to a new pricing and shipping system.
From now on, all shipping within the U.S. is free, and international shipping should be reduced. The downside? Prices are slightly higher across the board.
Why the change? Shipping costs are getting progressively higher as the price of oil rises. People were getting understandably upset about ordering a 10$ t-shirt and paying 5$ for shipping. At the same time, our old system, which was based on inaccurate weight data and old USPS shipping rates, would drastically undercharge some customers, while overcharging others.
This system spreads shipping costs between all orders more evenly, and should work out to being a better deal for almost everyone. We’ve also started limiting our shipping costs and have started using a new system which gets us discounts on shipping.
The end result? Hopefully better service and lower overall costs.
Please, if you think the system is not charging you correctly, let me know. I’m sure there will be bugs, and we only find out about them through customers.

Also thanks for the altered shipping rates. I know vinyl is expensive to ship internationally so I’m sure many will appreciate this change and if you live in the US now there’s virtually no reason to not buy anything from the site.
Hey, ordered my copy on October 3rd. I know you’re busy and all that and you’re trying your damnedest to put these things out but there’s been no progress in my order. Any timeframe on when it’ll be shipped? Thanks a ton!
Well, this is a pre-order, so we’ll ship when we get the records, It’ll probably be at least a month after your purchase.
Damn, already gone. Maybe you could just phone the pressing plant for one additional copy? ;)

No, unfortunately we sold pre-orders for all the copies we’re getting. We will be pressing CDs, though, sometime after.

I’m sure you’re getting that question a lot, so I’m sorry if it’s a bother. Also, I just want to thank you for the music and say that I’m glad I can support you by buying your record.

I have tweeted/posted several times in other venues, but not on the blog, for which I apologize. The truth of the matter is that we don’t know. The plant is completely MIA. We are working on getting updates from them, but they are not returning our calls or emails. Yes, we are pissed. I will post here whenever I actually know something about what’s happening.
